At Non-Interlocked level crossing gates in Indian Railways
- There have been several cases where a Non-Interlocked level crossing gate has been found open in the face of an approaching train.
- No amount of counselling or safety drives has been able to eliminate the occurrences which has become a serious cause of worry, both for Indian railways and public at large.
- One of the main causes for the gate remaining open has been due to miscommunication between gate man and station master.
- No Such System in the Indian Railway presently that ensures that the gateman exchanged the PN only after closing the gate.

- JS Infotech Pvt Ltd has studied the complete operation of non-interlocked lc gates in Indian railways and we have developed a cloud-based application.
- With this application the station master will come to know the status of the non-interlocked lc gate (whether it is closed or open) without the intervention of gateman automatically before dispatching the train with double assurance that the gate is closed and its safe to dispatch the train.
